The difference between container room, fast LCL room, and packing box

There are too many names for temporary mobile homes on the market, and behind the different names is actually the result of the continuous development of temporary houses. Especially for container houses, fast LCL, and packing boxes, many people don’t understand the difference between them.

The container house was originally evolved from overseas containers, and now this kind of corrugated container house has many uses, which can be used for living, garbage room, special operation container house and so on.

If you look at the container house alone, in fact, fast LCL and packing boxes are container house products. However, in view of the continuous development of modern technology, people’s requirements for temporary construction and living are constantly increasing, and the production process of container houses has been continuously improved, so as to be able to respond more quickly to the development of emergency projects, long-distance deployment, and response to harsh environments.

The construction method of fast LCL is to build the bottom and the entire cuboid frame, and then install the top, and each frame is tightened by bolts. There is no drainage system. The disadvantage is that the amount of on-site construction work is slightly larger, and the leakage and seepage prevention effect is not ideal.

The packing box is a modular building product based on a structural system of steel frames and lightweight wall panels. The top and bottom are fixed by welding process, and the top, bottom and column are installed on site, which is faster and easier, and can be packaged and flattened for land or sea transportation. The top is equipped with an inner drainage groove, which has a better leak-proof effect.

At present, the packing box room is a kind of modular temporary building that is better than fast LCL. It can meet the needs of construction sites, shelter isolation rooms, field operation barracks, municipal resettlement houses and various commercial buildings. It has the characteristics of factory prefabrication, simplified on-site installation, flexible space combination, energy saving and environmental protection, fire and leakage prevention, wind and earthquake resistance, etc., and is known as a “new green building”.

The above is my introduction to “the difference between container room, fast LCL room, and packing box” for your reference.
